As part of our ongoing initiatives to ensure the efficient processing of payments requests, we wish to advise that as from 1 January 2016, we will no longer be able to accept payments requests via fax, mail or handwritten instructions.
We recognise that this may be an inconvenience to you. Such payment methods expose both HSBC and you, as our customer, to risk, processing delays and errors resulting in a poor customer experience. We encourage you to use alternative payment services like HSBCnet, as mentioned earlier. If you are not currently set up to use HSBCnet we can help to set this up for you.
